We are dedicated to crafting exceptional mobile and desktop experiences for those who aspire to achieve more. PDF Expert , our flagship product, is more than just a PDF editor. It’s one of the most loved PDF apps, trusted by over 30 million people worldwide to read, edit, annotate, and manage PDFs across Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Recognized as “App of the Year,” an “Apple Editor’s Choice,” and a Red Dot Design Award winner, PDF Expert sets the standard for effortless document workflows. As a Senior Product Designe r, you’ll own and improve the core experience of PDF Expert across our iOS, iPadOS, and macOS apps, from how people open, navigate, and organize documents to the editing and annotation tools they use every day. You’ll find the problems that matter most to our users, come up with new product ideas, and turn them into well-crafted solutions. You’ll also help level up our design system and shape how our team designs with AI. Our Design Approach: We design with a clear focus on impact, whether that’s a better user experience, stronger product performance, or meaningful business outcomes. Our approach is shaped by five guiding principles: Lead by design. Design is the driving force behind our product’s evolution. We take the initiative to shape the future of PDF Expert, lead cross-functional collaboration, and work on projects that directly influence the direction of the product. High craft. We care about precision and detail, because quality is what users notice and remember. Data informed. From user insights to product analytics, our decisions are backed by evidence, so our solutions meet both user needs and business goals. Customer obsessed. Our users are at the heart of everything we do. We continuously gather feedback and conduct research to understand their needs, behaviors, and pain points. Impact driven. We design for measurable results, whether that’s higher engagement, better product performance, or direct contribution to company growth. In this role, you will: Own the core PDF Expert experience, end to end. The reading, annotating, and document editing workflows that millions of people rely on every day are yours to shape. You’ll make them clearer, faster and more consistent, and you’ll be accountable for the engagement and retention gains that follow. Decide what matters, then make it happen. Use research, analytics, and user feedback to find the biggest opportunities, explore bold ideas to solve them, and bring the strongest to life. You have an opportunity to set the direction instead of waiting for a brief. Raise the bar for the product experience. Lead a systematic effort to fix long-standing usability issues and inconsistencies across key user journeys, with a direct, measurable impact on core product metrics. Level up the design system with Engineering. Build scalable patterns for complex, power-user workflows, and raise the bar on quality and adoption across the product Help define the product’s long-term direction. Look beyond the current roadmap, spot where the market and user needs are heading, and turn that into a design vision that guides what we build over the next years. About you: Your work has made a real impact. 6+ years in product design, with experience designing complex products. Your portfolio includes detailed case studies showing your process and the results you delivered. Your craft stands out. Outstanding visual and interaction design is your baseline, and you keep looking for ways to level it up. You love hard problems. Complex challenges are where your product thinking and creativity shine, and where you find the solutions that actually move the product forward. You’ve built systems that scale. Creating or scaling a design system in close partnership with Engineering is something you’ve done before. You know Apple platforms inside out. Having designed native apps for iOS and/or macOS, you know when to follow platform conventions and when to push further. AI is part of how you work. Fluent with AI tools, you keep finding new ways to improve your process and enjoy helping others do the same. You make people believe in ideas. A clear, compelling communicator and storyteller in English, you can win support for even the boldest ideas. What you will get at Readdle: Customer-centric culture. We put our users at the heart of everything we do. Every team member has the opportunity to engage directly with customers, gaining insights that shape meaningful, delightful experiences for millions worldwide. Relentless growth. We’re committed to mastery in our craft. We take ownership of our work, decisions, and outcomes, and we see feedback as a catalyst for growth. Every challenge is an opportunity to learn, evolve, and raise the bar. Exceptional people, exceptional team. Our greatest strength is our people.
